PROUD NEW PARENTS

As many of you know, fellow Burkemper Group associates, Dan and Jennifer Windorff, have been long anticipating the news about their adoption of a baby girl from China.

Well the wait is over! Dan and Jennifer have received word that they will be traveling to China in January of 2008 to embrace their new daughter, Sophia Xiao Tong Windorff. Xiao Tong is the name she was given and it translates as "Little Sunshine." Sophia was born on April 29th, 2007.

They've been waiting nearly 3 years to find their daughter. We wish their family all the best in the years to come! Congratulations, Dan and Jennifer!

PROUD TO HELP OUR VETERANS

We are making our office available to you as a de facto donation center for the VA Medical Center of St. Louis. All of the staff here at Burkemper Group are proud to help our vets in this way.

This means that you can now have a convenient drop off location for your donations to the VA Medical Center at Jefferson Barracks. And by the way, did you know your donation to the VA (Dept. of Veteran's Affairs General Post Fund) is tax deductible? It's true, and we should know!

Here is a list of the kinds of donations which are needed by the VA Medical Center and that we can accept here at our office for delivery to the Center:

ALSO, NEW clothing items will be accepted as follows:

NEW socks, NEW underwear, NEW t-shirts or slightly worn jeans to be distributed to needy veteran inpatients. Cash donations are also accepted by the VA, but we cannot accept them here in our office.
