Client Appreciation Events:

Our last Client Appreciation Event was on Valentine's Day, February 14th, 2008. Burkemper Group clients were invited to attend a Sweetheart's Ball at Two Hearts Banquet Center in Sunset Hills. We had an elegant dinner, followed by dancing, photos, prize give-aways and other fun activities.

At Burkemper Group, we always want to thank our clients for trusting us to work with them in developing their retirement strategies. This event was just one way for us to thank you.

Tax Preparation Schedule:

***** UPDATE *****  The IRS has granted a blanket extension for Federal and State Tax Returns if you live in St. Louis County (or several other Missouri counties) or if your tax preparer's business is located in an affected county, due to the flooding which occured last month. If you haven't had your tax returns prepared yet and would like to schedule, please call our office ASAP.


As of September of 2007, Burkemper Group has made significant changes to its tax preparation service. Effective immediately, Bob Lallinger, CPA, will be available to prepare the personal tax returns of our financial clients only, as well as any personal referrals they give us going forward.

We will no longer be able to prepare tax returns for anyone who is not a financial client. Being a financial client means that you have taken advantage of our primary service at Burkemper Group, which is tax, income and distribution planning.

If you are a current tax client, or have been in the past, and would like to take advantage of a complimentary consultation, don't hesitate to call our office to schedule a time to come to our office for a visit. If there are any recommendations that we can make to improve your retirement plan, and you decide to implement any changes through our firm, you will then be eligible for our $49 tax return preparation for this coming tax season.

It has been a pleasure serving the Saint Louis community over the past four years in the area of tax preparation by offering an incredible price to retirees. We hope to see all of our previous tax clients here in the office to review.

First Annual Golden Referral Club Member Event - September 2007

We were very excited to share this very special event with those of our clients who have been gracious and trusting enough to send their friends and family to us through the past two years. Those clients had earned membership in our Golden Referral Club and thus were invited to this extra-special event!

Burkemper Group reserved a Party Room at the new Cardinals' Stadium in September for the Final Game of the Regular Season! All of our current Golden Referral Club Members were invited to join us for this game.

The view was perfect, especially when the Cardinals came out with a comeback win in the bottom of the ninth inning! It was a very memorable experience for all who attended.

Remember, if you would like to be invited to events like this one in the future, you must first do your part by doing everything you can to become a Member of the Golden Referral Club! All you have to do is remember to tell your loved ones and friends to come see us for a complimentary review, and if they become a financial client, you are automatically in the Club!

Each year we will hold an event for all newly inducted Members. Also, if you were inducted previously for one referral, you must be raised to a higher Tier of Membership before you are invited to another event. You can do this by referring someone new to our firm.

We hope our next event will include many more of our clients, so we can all enjoy the fun together!
